This is an on going story exposed fraud, marine patrol and contra costa code enforcement was used as the henrchmen for this out of control marina owner.
When marina owner could not buy the home back from the current owners she said she would take the home from the current owners – tying this family up in court. When that did not work – she threatened to set the house on fire. I have no proof she set the house on fire. But I guess everything speaks for itself!!

HOPEFULLY NOW AN INVESTIGATION WILL HAPPEN – someone will be arrested for arson..

Wasn’t that the front page story in today’s East Bay Times (Sunday)? Why can’t people live on houseboats in any marina which will take them? They pay to occupy the space. Who is being hurt by this? The county has some really stupid rules on this issue and that should be done away with. I hope this family prevails in their efforts to maintain their house. They assemblyman and state senator should go up to bat for them.
