Due to air quality conditions and for the safety of the community, the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce is cancelling the Brentwood 2018 Holiday Parade scheduled for Saturday evening in downtown Brentwood.
The announcement was made Thursday afternoon based on air quality concerns. This would have been the 36th annual parade.
“We regret the need to cancel, however, the community safety is our primary concern and please stay tuned to the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce Facebook page for more updates,” said Jacquelyn Dressel Wright.
According to Wright, the Chamber is potentially looking at rescheduling the event, however, she added its very premature based on a multiple factors including weather and safety of the community.
