Update: Power Restored in Brentwood to 3,386 Homes After Blown Transformer

At 11:45 pm Friday, East Contra Costa Fire responded to a hazardous condition call due to a blown transformer at Minnesota Ave and Central Avenue in Brentwood.

According to the PG&E, power was knocked out to 3,386 customers and a crew was assigned to the outage. As of midnight, there was no estimated time for restoration.

Engine 93 is currently in the area attempting to locate the transformer.

Update – PG&E is not expected on scene until about 12:50 am Saturday.

Update – Power has been fully restored
