Brentwood: 19-Year-Old Stabbed Multiple Times, Airlifted to Local Hospital

The Brentwood Police Department is investigating an incident which left a 19-year-old male stabbed multiple times Saturday night.

According to the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District, the incident occurred a quarter-mile west of American Avenue off Balour and the victim was transported by medical helicopter to John Muir Trauma Center in Walnut Creek.

The fire department stated that an out of County AMR unit was performing a patient transfer when they were flagged down around 11:27 pm on Balfour Road where they located the 19-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to his upper body area.

Brentwood Police have not yet issued an official statement as of 7:30 am, however, initial reports were the man was involved in an altercation at a party and left the scene in a vehicle. The incident is still under investigation.
