Brentwood: 16-Year-Old Female Jumps out of Moving Vehicle, Airlifted to Local Hospital

At 11:18 pm Saturday, a female was airlifted to a local hospital after reportedly jumping out of a moving vehicle on Balfour Road and State Route 4.

Engine 52 arrived on scene to find a 16-year-old female who jumped out of a moving vehicle at approximately 30 mph. This was reported to have actually occurred in the area of Bixler Road and State Route 4 according to the District.

The female was suffering head trauma and by protocol, a medical helicopter was requested.

The District said that the female suffered head and extremity injuries after falling from a moving vehicle but did not provide any additional detail. They also explained that the patient was currently in the process of being driven to the hospital by a parent when Brentwood Police conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. That is when Code 3 medical was requested.

According to initial reports, it indicate that the female had an altercation with her parent while in a moving vehicle and jumped out of the vehicle when it was in motion.
