At around 1:30 pm Sunday, East Contra Costa firefighters responded to a motor home fire in the 3300 block of Stone Road on Bethel Island.

The incident created a large cloud of black smoke that was visible from the City of Oakley.

Upon arrival, firefighters located a 40-foot motor home fully involved, however, it was not threatening any homes. The incident also created a small vegetation fire which Engine 53 extinguished quickly.

Its unclear if there were any injuries and no neighboring structures were damaged.

Was this the same motor home stranded on hwy 4 at Marsh Crk? If so I thought some nice citizens moved and fixed it.
Bummer it caught fire. Glad no one was hurt.
