Around 12:30 Saturday, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District Firefighters responded to a reported kitchen fire in Bay Point which caused roughly $30,000 in damages on Seaview Drive. Upon arrival, crews located an unattended stove top on fire. The incident damaged the kitchen and caused smoke damage throughout the single-story home.
