Bay Point: Firefighters Battling 3-Alarm Fire After 2-Homes Catch Fire

At 10:40 pm Saturday, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to a report of a residential structure fire at 25 North Street at Franklin Ave.

At 10:45 pm E86 reporting well involved house on fire with a second home on fire and PG&E wires down at Franklin Ave at North Street. Wires were also down in the front yard between the two homes.

By 10:47pm, E86 reported multiple lines down along with multiple poles on fire and requested a 2nd alarm response.

By 10:58 pm, BC8 reported multiple explosions, two homes fully involved, possible rescue on another home, and were in defensive mode with multiple explosions.

By 11:03 pm – 1 home was fully involved, 2nd home was 50% involved.

By 11:10 pm – 1 home fully involved, 2nd home fully involved with third home possibly exposed to fire per BC8.

By 11:13 pm – requested Animal Control, located dead dogs.

By 11:36 pm – BC8 reporting fire was under control
