The Bay Area Rapid Transit announced Wednesday that due to track repairs, they will be running trains at reduced speeds through the area between Orinda and Lafayette stations all day Saturday and Sunday, January 7-8.
This will cause delays up to 20 minutes on the Pittsburg/Bay Point line for track work. Please plan your travel accordingly.
Full service will be restored in time for the commute on Monday morning.
When the repairs are complete, passengers are expected to experience a smoother ride through the area.
