Parents of Kimball Elementary School in Antioch received a robocall this morning after there was an apparent threat made to a staff member sometime after school Tuesday afternoon. Parents were reassured students would be okay as the school had additional security on campus this morning.
According to Antioch School District Superintendent Donald Gill, the school district has handled the incident and ensured students safety was the top priority which is why they alerted parents.
“All is well at Kimball; we have appropriate security as a parent made aggressive and angry comments. We were concerned about safety and well being of the kids so the well is well organized and right now the police are investigating it. I think on our end the kids are safe and will be safe all day,” said Superintendent Gill.
Gill stated this is now under investigation with the Antioch Police Department and considers it a police issue going forward.

You want to hear some “threats”? Then you ought to be down at city hall in the line to pay your water bill or to get your water turned on. Easy to understand why those one-inch thick clear plastic windows were installed to safeguard the tellers.
Kimball is a very good school. Mrs. and Mr. Navarro and the entire staff are wonderful!!
Yes they are wonderful! And the rest of the staff is fantastic! A great bunch of people!
There is too much of this parents threatening teachers going on. There have even been court ordered restraining orders issued for our teachers safety. This is out of hand and these parents need to be arrested. Elementary school? OMG!
Thankfully the Antioch School District employed Strategic Threat Management to protect their schools! They are some of the most professional and swuared away security officers I’ve ever seen.
