The Antioch Police Activities League will be hosting the first “Legos and the Law” activity on Saturday, August 22, 2015. From 9-11 am, Antioch Police Chief Allan Cantando and other members of the police department will be on hand to help Antioch residents between the ages of 5-10 build some cool Lego creations.
This event is only for the first 25 children who RSVP. No walk-ins will be allowed to participate. Please see the attached flyer for more details, including how to register.
“Legos and the law will be a fun experience for our kids,” said Cantando. “This is typically a demographic we do not serve, so I am excited we are doing this. I am hopeful the kids will see the officers in a fun setting and have positive memories moving forward. These events serve as strategic planning sessions to hopefully entice our next generation of youth to become police officers.”
