August 17-23: Brentwood Police Calls For Service

The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department August 17-23 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Assault

  • 8/17 – Lone Tree Way: VIC reported RES bumped him from behind while leaving the restaurant. RES released on a signed Promise to Appear.
  • 8/19 – Lone Tree Way: RES battered VICs following dispute over the food bill.
  • 8/22 – Shady Willow Ln: ARR attempted to stab VIC in the neck with a broke piece of glass during a physical fight. ARR was transported to MDF where he was booked.
  • 8/22 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR battered VIC during a dispute. ARR was transported to MDF where he was booked.
  • 8/23 – Almond St.: RES punched VIC in face five times.

Auto Theft

  • 8/23 – St. Augustine Dr.: RES stole VIC’s vehicle which was parked in the street in front of her residence.
  • 8/23 – Brentwood Blvd: Unknown RES took VIC’s vehicle without permission. Keys left in vehicle

Burglary – Business

  • 8/17 – Brentwood Blvd: RES forced entry into business and stole approximately $15,100.
  • 8/18 – Brentwood Blvd: RES forced entry into business and stole safe. Approximate loss $2250.
  • 8/21 – First St.: Unknown RES entered business by throwing rock through front glass door. RES stole
    change drawer with approximately $75.
  • 8/21 – Lone Tree Way: RES removed a window from business and gained entry. RES attempted to pry open the safe but was unable to gain access. RES fled the business on foot without any property.

Burglary – Burglary or Theft from Auto

  • 8/18 – Lone Tree Way: Unidentified responsible(s) shattered passenger’s side window of VEH, taking wallet, personal items and credit cards. Occurred 8/18/15 between approximately 0810 hours and 0900 hours.
  • 8/20 – Griffith Lane: RES forced entry into VEH and stole VIC’s purse and sweater.
  • 8/20 – Sand Creek Rd: A vehicle’s rear passenger side window was smashed. The vehicle was rummaged through, but nothing was stolen from the vehicle.
  • 8/21 – Lone Tree Way: A vehicle’s front passenger side window was shattered. A bag with electronic devices, keys, and other miscellaneous items were stolen from the vehicle.

Burglary – Residential

  • 8/19 – Redhaven St.: Bike and scooter taken from open garage of residence. Occurred 1315-1320 hours.
  • 8/19 – Las Colinas Dr.: RES forced entry through side garage door of residence and attempted to pry open interior door however no entry was made. A window in the rear of the residence was broken and two screens removed. No entry into the residence made.
  • 8/23 – Shady Willow Ln: VIC-1’s garage unit was burglarized and VIC-2’s firearm was stolen from inside of it. The firearm was entered into AFS and was located in the city of Antioch.

DUI

  • 8/19 – Second St.: ARR stopped for VC violation and found to be under the influence of alcohol. ARR to
    MDF. Vehicle parked.
  • 8/21 – Oak St.: ARR pulled over for a vehicle code violation and found to be driving under the
    influence of alcohol. ARR released on a Promise to Appear.
  • 8/22 – Coyote Ct.: ARR (Minor) stopped for VC violation and found to be DUI.
  • 8/23 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was stopped due to CVC violation. ARR determined to be under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/23 – Technology Way: ARR found to be passed out inside his vehicle in the drive thru of Jack in the box with the engine still running. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/23 – Fairview Ave: ARR stopped for vehicle code violation, and determined to be driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/23 – Grant St.: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR determined to be DUI. ARR released on PTA.

Fraud/Credit/ATM

  • 8/18 – Lone Tree Way: RES unknowingly attempted to use a counterfeit bill to pay for items
  • 8/18 – Lone Tree Way: RP reported RES attempted to purchase items using a false ID and check. RP refused service and RES left without groceries. RES left prior to police arrival.
  • 8/19 – Wintergreen Dr.: Unknown RES used VIC-1 and VIC-2’s personal information in an attempt to gain credit cards.
  • 8/23 – Autumn Valley Way: RES used VIC’s debit card to make a $2400 at Walmart in Reno, NV. Case forwarded.

Grand Theft

  • 8/22 – Lone Tree Way: RES-1 and RES-2 entered the business and removed 3 iPhones off the display shelf before fleeing the scene.
  • 8/23 – Gold Poppy St.: Catalytic converter taken from vehicle.

H&S Violation

  • 8/20 – American Ave: ARR-1 and 2 were in possession of suspected marijuana on campus. They were both cite released to their parents.

Indecent Exposure

  • 8/18 – Fairview: RES exposed himself to VIC while stopped at a red light.

Narcotics Drug Law Violations

  • 8/17 – First St.: ARR was contacted during a traffic stop and was found to be in possession of
    methamphetamine.
  • 8/17 – Lynn Dr.: ARR contacted at location for arrest warrant and probation search. ARR delayed officersand was found to be in possession of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. ARR to MDF.
  • 8/22 – Lone Tree Way: ARR-1 was placed under citizen’s arrest for shoplifting. ARR-1 was released on a PTA. ARR-2 was found to be on felony probation (AB 109) and in possession of suspected methamphetamine. ARR-2 was transported to MDF.

Other Violations

  • 8/21 – Birch St.: ARR brought alcohol on campus. She was released on a juvenile affidavit to her foster
    mother.

Petty Theft

  • 8/17 – Mission Fields Ln: RES stole misc tools from VIC’s garage during party. Total loss $1,280.
  • 8/18 – Woodside Dr.: ARR-1 and ARR-2 were contacted on a consensual encounter while carrying power tools. ARR-1 and ARR-2 admitted to stealing the tools from an unlocked vehicle in the area. ARR-1 and ARR-2 to MDF.
  • 8/18 – Second St.: The VIC reported that unknown RES(s) stole a watch and an iphone car charger from his parked vehicle. His vehicle was parked at the Liberty High School student parking lot
  • 8/18 – Lone Tree Way: VIC left cell phone on cart and it was stolen
  • 8/20 – Atherton Ct.: RES stole approximately of $400 of miscellaneous clothes from VIC’s driveway. VIC
    desires prosecution.
  • 8/20 – Sand Creek Rd: RES ran out of the business with over $600 in clothing he did not purchase.
  • 8/21 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR stole alcohol from Raley’s and was detained by loss prevention. ARR was
    subsequently released to a parent with a Juvenile Affidavit.

Property/Possession of Stolen

  • 8/18 – Magnolia Ct.: ARR was taken into custody for three active warrants and was found to be in possession of stolen property.

Robbery

  • 8/23 – Balfour: RES-1 and RES-2 stole baby formula from business. VIC was pushed by RES-1 and RES-2 and pepper sprayed by RES-1 upon leaving store.

Vandalism

  • 8/19 – Marina Way: Reporting party’s residence has been egged three times since 8/14/15. No permanent damage.
  • 8/20 – Summerwood Dr.: Two unknown RES entered VIC’s home through an unlocked garage door and vandalized the carpet. The RES’ fled from the home as WIT arrived.
  • 8/20 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC had door frame broken by unknown means.

Warrant Arrest

  • 8/17 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted and found to have an outstanding arrest warrant for theft. ARR released on a Promise to Appear.
  • 8/18 – Sand Creek: ARR found to have a no-cite warrant. ARR transported to MDF.
  • 8/21 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was contacted in the BPD lobby and found to have two cite releasable warrants. ARR was released on a Brentwood PTA.
  • 8/22 – Caraway Ct.: ARR-1 contacted and found to have a $70,000 felony warrant for 496(a) PC. ARR-2 found to be under influence of CNS stimulant. Both taken to MDF.

Weapons Violations

  • 8/23 – Balfour: Unknown RES exhibited a pocket knife at VIC during a confrontation. RES fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
