Aug 24 – Sept. 7: Brentwood Police Calls

The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department August 24 – September 7 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

During this time period, the police department made 14 warrant arrests.

Assault

• 8/24 – Lillian St.: VIC stated RES punched him in face and then fell on top of him breaking his thumb.
• 8/27 – Lone Tree Way: VIC-1 was in a physical altercation with RES-1 and RES-2. VIC-1 sustained moderate injuries during the altercation and only knew the responsibles by first name.
• 8/29 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC was assaulted by unknown responsibles. VIC did not want anything done by police.
• 9/1 – Minnesota Ave: ARR-1 and ARR-2 were involved in a mutual fight on campus.
• 9/1 – First St.: RES pushed VIC during landlord/tenant dispute. No prosecution desired.
• 9/2 – Balfour: ARR attempted to hit officer with vehicle. ARR led police on 22 mile pursuit and was ultimately taken into custody by BPD without further incident in the city of Stockton.
• 9/3 – City Park Way: VIC/RES-1 and VIC/RES-2 were engaged in a physical altercation in City Park.

Auto Recovered

• 8/25 – Second St.: ARR contacted during suspicious vehicle check. ARR found in possession of stolen vehicle, stolen property, & controlled substances. ARR to MDF. Vehicle stored.
• 8/26 – Cottonwood Cm: ARR-1 was found to be in possession of stolen vehicle. During a protective sweep of the residence ARR-2 was found to be an addict in possession of a firearm. ARR-1 and ARR-2 to MDF.
• 9/1 – Sunrise Dr.: ARR1, ARR2, and ARR3 were found to be in possession of stolen vehicles and vessels. ARR4 was found to be a felon with ammo. ARR1 was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant for vehicle theft. ARR2 was found to have an outstanding warrant for a violation of parole. ARR3 was on probation

Auto Theft

• 8/31 – Barcelona Way: Vehicle stolen (Occ’d 08/30 2130-08/31 0705).

Burglary – Theft from Auto

• 8/27 – Sand Creek Rd: A vehicle’s front passenger side window was shattered. An Adidas bag and two pairs of Nike cleats were stolen.
• 8/27 – Griffith Ln: Unknown RES used an unknown object to key punch the lock on the driver door of VIC’s vehicle. RES took purse which contained several personal items.
• 8/28 – Minnesota: Unknown RES gained entry into VIC’s vehicle and stole property.
• 9/4 – Brushwood Pl: $800-1K WORTH OF REF GEAR TAKEN FROM TRUNK OF VEH
• 9/4 – Lone Tree Way: A vehicle’s front passenger side window was shattered, and items were stolen from the vehicle.
• 9/4 – Mint Dr.: Two unknown RES broke into two vehicles. RES stole various items from both vehicles.

Burglary – Business

• 9/1 – Lone Tree Way: UNK RES smashed front glass door and stole unknown items from business.
• 9/4 – Balfour: Three subjects entered the business and immediately stole approximately $1000 of baby formula.

Burglary – Residential

• 8/31 – Trinity PL: UNK RES broke rear glass door to residence and stole 3ftx3ft gray safe, shotgun, pistol, and various jewelry.
• 9/4 – Spyglass Dr: RES smashed rear sliding glass door with unknown object and entered VIC’s residence. Drawers in various rooms opened. No property missing from residence.
• 9/7 – First St.: VIC reported a bicycle was stolen from a shed. An anonymous reporting party reported a suspicious circumstance. During the investigation, 2 bicycles were found nearby and
  unclaimed. One was returned to VIC and the other, a pink beach cruiser, was deposited into the Brentwood PD depository.

Drunk Driver

• 8/25 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR contacted regarding a road rage incident and determined to be DUI. ARR-2 had an outstanding Felony Warrant for his arrest. ARR-3 was too intoxicated to care for himself. ARR-1, ARR-2, and ARR-3 to MDF.
• 9/1 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR determined to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
• 9/1 – Brentwood Blvd (Drunk): ARR was observed driving and then attempting to drive after parking. ARR failed FST and refused breath/blood. ARR to MDF.
• 9/4 – Technology Way: ARR stopped for VC violations and found to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. ARR released on a PTA.
• 9/4 – Balfour: WIT observed ARR driving erratically. ARR contacted at his residence with stolen
  property and DUI. ARR refused to provide a chemical sample, and a warrant was obtained. ARR to MDF.
• 9/7 – Hudson Dr.: ARR contacted after a solo vehicle collision. ARR found to be driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. ARR released on a signed PTA.

Elder Abuse

• 8/31 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC was defrauded out of several thousands of dollars while living in Walnut Creek. This case has been investigated by Walnut Creek PD.

Grand Theft

• 8/25 – Chamomile Ln: RES stole necklace from residence while servicing residential air conditioner.
• 8/27 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was placed under citizen’s arrest for shoplifting in excess of $950. ARR was found to be in possession of syringes and other drug paraphernalia. ARR to MDF.
• 9/5 – Harrison Ln: Former tenant stole appliances from residence.
• 9/5 – Sand Creek Rd: Three unknown RES’s entered store and stole 5 cell phones. Total loss approximately $3,435.

H&S Violation

• 8/24 – Birch St.: ARR contacted after a report of suspicious vehicle near the school. ARR found to be in
  possession of a controlled substance. ARR to MDF.
• 8/25 – Balfour Rd: ARR contacted at location and found to be under the influence of a CNS stimulant. ARR to MDF.
• 8/27 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR contacted and found to be possession of concentrated cannabis for sales. ARR to MDF.
• 9/3 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was stopped for a VC violation. ARR’s driver’s was determined to be suspended for DUI. ARR was also determined to possess .8 grams of suspected methamphetamine. ARR to MDF and his vehicle was stored.

Indecent Exposure

• 9/1 – Balfour: RES exposed himself to VIC while sitting at a red light.

Narcotics Violation

• 8/24 – Sand Creek Road: ARR was contacted and in possession of a controlled narcotic. ARR released on a Juvenile Affidavit.
• 9/3 – Second St.: ARR was in possession of methamphetamine. ARR was cited and released.
• 9/3 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR contacted on a pedestrian stop. ARR found to be in violation of felony probation, possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of
  burglary tools. ARR to MDF
• 9/7 – Diablo Way: ARR was contacted for an outstanding arrest warrant and fled. ARR was found to be in possession of controlled substances and paraphernalia

Other Violations

• 9/7 – Nottingham Dr.: ARR was arrested for delaying a police officer in the performance of his duties. ARR was released with the promise to appear.

Outside Assist

• 8/25 – Second St.: The RP reported a fight that occurred on a Liberty Union School District bus while dropping students off in Discovery Bay.

Parole/Probation Violations

• 8/27 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR was placed under citizen’s arrest for shoplifting. ARR was on probation for shoplifting and transported to MDF.

Petty Theft

• 8/26 – Ranchwood Dr.: Firearm and debit card were stolen from the residence. RES were possibly workers. Case under investigation.
• 8/29 – Lone Tree Way: ARR stole clothing and jewelry from Kohl’s and ran from Officer’s while attempting to detain her. ARR was found to be on felony probation and was transported to MDF for booking.
• 8/29 – Brentwood Blvd: RP observed RES placing wood in the rear of his truck from homes under comstruction. RES feld area prior to officer arrival. Estimated loss $100.
• 8/30 – Oak St.: ARR stopped in the process of stealing a beverage. ARR to MDF.
• 9/6 – Sand Creek: RES’s entered store and stole approx $600 worth of products
• 9/6 – Lone Tree Way: ARR found to be in possession of stolen iPhone. ARR released on Juv Aff.
• 9/7 – Dainty Ave: Unknown RES stole bicycle from front yard of residence. Estimated value of loss $150.00.

Property / Possession of Stolen

• 8/25 – Broderick Dr.: ARR arrested for warrants and possession of stolen property. ARR to MDF.

Trespassing

• 9/1 – Balfour: ARR entered Safeway after being provided a trespass admonishment on numerous prior occasions. ARR on misdemeanor probation. ARR to MDF.

Vandalism (sampling)

• 8/24 – Tidewater Ct.: Tires of VIC’S vehicles slashed and one vehicle scratched.
• 8/26 – First St.: Unidentified responsible(s) broke front window to business. Occurred between 8/26/15 approximately 1700 hours and 8/27/15 approximately 0820 hours.
• 9/4 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was intoxicated in public and shattered a rear window of VIC’s vehicle. ARR to MDF.
• 9/4 – Gardenside Ct.: ARR spray painted his parent’s residence along with a neighbor’s residence causing over $400 in damages.

W&I Violations

• 8/25 – Cherry Blossom Ct.: RP reported RES held a party for their daughter where multiple juveniles were intoxicated.

Warrant Arrest

• 8/26 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
• 8/26 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR was stopped for VC violation and found to have an outside warrant for 488/242 out of Pittsburg. ARR cited and released.
• 8/27 – Fir St.: ARR contacted and had a no-bail warrant. ARR to MDF.
• 8/29 – O’Hara Ave: Undercover detectives spotted ARR at a park and recognized him as a subject with a felony armed robbery warrant. ARR was taken into custody and transported to juvenile hall where he was booked.
• 8/29 – Jeffery Way: INV stopped for a VC violation. During investigation ARR found to have misdemeanor warrant out of Chico for 415 pc / 1203.1 PC. ARR released on PTA.
• 8/30 – Country Glen Ln: ARR contacted and found to have an outstanding warrant for (496d PC) and transported to MDF.
• 8/31 – Bypass: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR had misdemeanor warrant for 23152(b) VC from Oakland PD. ARR to MDF.
• 9/1 – County Glen Ln: ARR contacted on report of suspicious vehicle. ARR was found to have a 40,000 dollar warrant out of Sacramento County for burglary. ARR to MDF.
• 9/2 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR contacted for outstanding warrant. ARR to MDF.
• 9/3 – Spruce St.: ARR was stopped for VC violation. ARR found to have no bail warrant for 23152 VC. ARR to MDF.
• 9/5 – Valdry Ct.: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR-1 was driving on a DUI suspended license. ARR-2 had an outstanding warrant. VEH stored, ARR-2 to MDF, ARR-1 released on a NTA.
• 9/6 – Walnut Blvd: ARR contacted and found to have felony 23153(f) VC warrant out of Mendocino County. ARR to MDF
• 9/6 – Baldwin Dr.: ARR contacted and found to have an outstanding felony warrant out of Brentwood for 11370.1(a) H&S, 25850(a) PC, 25400(a)(2) PC, and 11550(a)H&S with a bail of $128,000. ARR found to be in possession of .8g of suspected methamphetamine.
• 9/7 – Bypass: ARR vehicle stopped for CVC violation. ARR was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Merced County (10851 VC, $40,000 bail). ARR to MDF. ARR vehicle impounded.

Weapons Violation

• 8/28 – Second St.: The ARR had the objective signs of intoxication, possessed a partially empty bottle of vodka, a water bottle that was filled with a clear alcoholic beverage and a folding
  knife with a locking blade.
• 9/2 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR1 found to be in possession of an expandable billy club. ARR2 was found to be in possession of controlled a substance. ARR1 to MDF, ARR2 released on a citation.
• 9/4 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted in a parked vehicle and was found to be in possession of a switchblade. ARR released on a PTA.
