Aug. 12: Oakley to Host Annual Kids Fishing Derby

The City of Oakley will host the 14^th Annual Oakley Kids Fishing Derby at the Antioch/Oakley shoreline pier. This is a free catch and release fishing event for children and their families with children up to age 15.

Bring your own fishing pole, bait will be supplied—limited loaner poles available.

Prizes will be awarded for:

• Biggest Fish (by length)
• Smallest Fish (by length)
• Most fish caught

Event registration is from 8:00 am to 9:00 am with the fishing derby from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with a free lunch to be served.
