Assemblymember Jim Frazier Sponsors Free Seminar to Educate Seniors About Scams

OAKLEY – Assemblymember Jim Frazier (D-Discovery Bay), the California Contractors State License Board and the Oakley Senior Citizens are hosting a FREE Senior Scam Stoppers seminar from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 971 O’Hara Ave. in Oakley.

A panel of experts will provide information to seniors about scams and how they can protect themselves from becoming victims.  Attendees will have their questions answered and obtain assistance if they have been scammed.

Drop-ins are welcome, but appointments may be made by calling Frazier’s District Office in Brentwood at (925) 513-0411.

Assemblymember Frazier represents the 11th Assembly District, which includes much of the Delta and portions of Sacramento, Solano and Contra Costa counties.

Jim Frazier knows about scams. He has been running them on his constituents for years.

People before politics is a perfect example.
