Asm Jim Frazier Co-Hosts Free Workshop on Doing Business with the State of California

BRENTWOOD, CA –Business owners in East Contra Costa County are invited to learn about increasing their business opportunities with the State of California during a free workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017.

Co-sponsored by Assemblymember Jim Frazier, the California Department of General Services and the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce, the Doing Business With the State of California workshop will run from 10 a.m. to noon in the second-floor Conference Room at the Brentwood Community Center, 35 Oak St.

This free seminar is open to both chamber and non-chamber members.

Staff from the Department of General Services will explain the process of becoming certified to sell goods and services to the state and share tips on how to:

  • Register Your Business with the State of California
  • Become a California Certified Small Business
  • Become a Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise
  • Use the California State Contracts Register
  • Market Your Business to California State Agencies
