April 1 – 17: Brentwood Police Calls

The following are a sampling of calls handled by the Brentwood Police Department between April 1 -17 according to information provided by Brentwood Police.

Assault

  • 4/1 – Birch St.: On the way home from school VIC was in a physical altercation with other juveniles on their way home from school.
  • 4/2 – Hampton Ct.: SUS struck VIC in the face after a dispute. VIC did not desire SUS prosecuted. RES delayed BPD Officers in their investigation.
  • 4/8 – Balfour: RES-1 and RES-2 engaged in mutual combat over guitar playing in the residence.
  • 4/9 – Guthrie Lane; INV-2 pushed INV-1 during a verbal argument. No prosecution desired. Report for documentation only.
  • 4/11 – Brentwood Blvd: VIC was punched once and had complaints of pain. VIC refused to cooperate with the investigation. Report for documentation purposes only.
  • 4/11 – Balfour: ARR1 was involved in an altercation with ARR2. ARR1 kicked VIC, when VIC tried to separate ARR1 and ARR2.
  • 4/15 – Grovewood LP: RES and VIC were in a physical altercation over a video game.

Auto Theft

  • 4/8  – Pondlilly Ln: RES stole VIC’s vehicle. Vehicle entered into SVS.
  • 4/8 – Lone Tree Way: Unidentified RES stole RP’s work trailer from the Chevron parking lot between 4/7/16 at 1500 and 4/8/16 at 0815hrs. Trailer entered into SVS.
  • 4/8 – Diamond Springs Ln: RES attempted to steal trailer from VIC’s driveway.

Burglary – Business

  • 4/1 – Sand Creek Road: RES(s) entered the business, and while clerk distracted a RES defeated a locked game case and stole thirty-six games.
  • 4/6 – Walnut Blvd: UNK RES kicked door open and stole unk items.
  • 4/15 – Lone Tree Way: RES entered business for shoe repairs, cut theft band and stole 3 black redwing wallets worth approximately $160 from counter display.
  • 4/17 – Balfour: RES forced entry through VIC’s door and took a credit card reader. Occd between 4/16/2016 2300 hours and 4/17/2016 1038 hours.

Burglary – Other

  • 4/1 – Village Dr.: RES forced entry into a laundry machine. Occ’d between 3/31/0830 hours and 4/1/2016 0830 hours. Estimated loss $50

Burglary – Residential:

  • 4/6 – E Country Club: RES broke rear glass door of residence. VIC reported no signs of entry or property missing.
  • 4/11 – Fernwood Lane: VIC’s rear slider smashed and residence burglarized.

Burglary – Theft from Auto

  • 4/2 – Brentwood Blvd: RES forced entry into VIC’s cargo trailer. No items taken.
  • 4/9 – Brentwood Blvd: RES cut the latches on VIC’s enclosed trailer while parked in storage. RES made entry and removed property valued at $530.00.
  • 4/13 – Mills Dr.: VIC’s vehicle broken into overnight and butt fusion machine taken. Total estimated loss $4,500.
  • 4/13 – Collis St.: Electronic components, tools, accessories taken from locked vehicle while parked in front of residence.
  • 4/16 – Indian Springs Dr.: VIC’s vehc was entered by unknown means and items were disturbed. Nothing obvious was stolen. A bag of women’s clothing not belonging to VIC were left on scene.

DUI

  • 4/7 – Dainty: ARR stopped for VC violations and found to be DUI. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/11 – Brentwood Blvd: Vehicle was stopped for CVC violations. ARR-1 was determined to be DUI. ARR-2 was determined to be too intoxicated to care for his own safety and on DUI probation. ARR- 1 and ARR-2 to MDF.
  • 4/12 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted and determined to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/16 – O’Hara Ave: D1 drove while intoxicated, collided with V2, and fled the immediate area. While fleeing, he collided with V3, V4, V5, and V6. V5 then collided with V7 and V6 collided with V8. D1 transported to John Muir Walnut Creek.
  • 4/16 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was stopped for a CVC violation and found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol. ARR to MDF.

Fraud

  • 4/1 – Sand Creek Rd: RES- fraudulently used VIC’s identity to obtain $1233.25 worth of merchandise.
  • 4/5 – Brentwood Blvd: Unknown RES used VIC’s debit card. Total loss approximately $3000.
  • 4/8 – Allbrook Ct.: RES- used VIC’s identity to obtain approximately $4000 worth of merchandise.

Grand Theft

  • 4/4 – Balfour: Cologne stolen from a display case (Occ’d 04/03 1452 hrs.).
  • 4/13 – Sand Creek Rd: 3 BFA’s stole several pair of sunglasses two days prior.
  • 4/13 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR stole $1,915.74 worth of merchandise from VIC. Merchandise was recovered and ARR was transported to MDF.
  • 4/13 – Sand Creek Rd: Clothes taken from Torrid.
  • 4/15 – John Muir PW: RES-1 and RES-2 entered business and stole numerous pairs of high end sunglasses / frames. Total loss approximately $4,800

Narcotics Violation

  • 4/1 – Lone Tree Way: ARR contacted during a pedestrian stop. ARR intentionally destroyed evidence in my presence and was in possession of suspected methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also in violation of his probation terms. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/2 – Oak St.: ARR was contacted and found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. ARR was transported to MDF for booking.
  • 4/6 – E. Country Club Dr.: ARR stopped for VC violation. ARR had a felony warrant out of Oakland PD and was in possession of suspected heroin for sales. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/8 – Las Colinas Dr.: ARR was contacted and found to be in possession of marijuana for sales. ARR was released on a juvenile affidavit.
  • 4/9 – Lone Tree Way: ARR stopped for VC violations. ARR found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 4/14 – Lone Tree Way: ARR was contacted and found to have an outstanding no bail misdemeanor warrant for 2800.2 CVC out of Concord PD. ARR also possessed suspected methamphetamine. ARR to MDF.

Parole/Probation Violation

  • 4/12 – Balfour Rd: ARR contacted for VC violations, provided false ID and found to have a (M) warrant for theft. ARR to MDF.

Petty Theft (overall, 10+)

  • 4/1 – DeMartini Lane: VIC’s outgoing mail was taken from mailbox at approximately 1030 hrs. Two outgoing checks were stolen. Video surveillance shows a newer silver Dodge Ram 4-door, no front plate.
  • 4/3 – Imperial Way: RES stole mail containing prescription medications from VIC’s mailbox.
  • 4/4 – Balfour: RES stole four cartons of cigarettes and fled.
  • 4/5 – Balfour: ARR contacted after shoplifting and transported to MDF.
  • 4/7 – Balfour: Responsible(s) stole a lime green Specialized Hardrock mountain bicycle. The bicycle’s lock was cut.
  • 4/8 – Lone Tree Way: ARR exited VIC-store without paying for $164 in merchandise and was stopped by loss prevention. Merchandise returned and ARR released on a PTA.
  • 4/11 – Lone Tree Way: RES entered bus office and took cell phone. Approx loss $400
  • 4/12 – Sand Creek Rd: RES entered store and exited with 2 pairs of men’s jeans. Approx loss $136

Restraining Order Violation

  • 4/2 – Crossridge Ct.: RES violated a DV restraining order after kicking in the front door to the residence and taking off in VIC’s vehicle. No prosecution desired.
  • 4/9 – Fourth St.: RES at location in violation of a protection order.

Robbery

  • 4/5 – Lone Tree Way: ARR attempted to steal merchandise. ARR used force and fear while trying to steal merchandise. ARR provided false name to officers. ARR to MDF.

Trespassing

  • 4/12 – Elm St.: ARR entered an occupied home through an unlocked window and tickled the feet of VIC. ARR transported to MDF and EPO issued and served.

Vandalism

  • 4/1 – Mojave Dr.: VIC’s residence was egged, leaving dried residue on house paint, and has been egged several times. VIC believes she is being targeted.
  • 4/1 – Prominent Dr.: RES egged VIC’s vehicle overnight. VIC’s vehicle was washed before it could be damaged.
  • 4/1 – Rosie Lane: ARR damaged property at residence resulting in $690 in damage. ARR later located by Officers and transported to MDF.
  • 4/2 – Lone Tree Way: A vehicle’s rear driver’s side window was shattered; no theft occurred.
  • 4/2 – Pebble Beach Dr.: Responsible(s) defaced a residence with eggs causing damage to the stucco and a window screen.
  • 4/2 – Ranchwood Dr.: VIC’s vehicle was egged causing $700 in damage to the paint.
  • 4/5 – Brentwood Blvd: An unidentified responsible broke the window of the above listed vacant property. Another window was found unsecured.
  • 4/11 – Minnesota Ave: City owned Sycamore tree cut down on Minnesota to the rear of Haystack Ct.
  • 4/12 – Brentwood blvd: ARR vandalized VIC’s mattress. VIC signed citizen’s arrest form. ARR released on PTA.

Warrant

  • 4/1 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR contacted and found to have outstanding warrant from San Bernardino County. ARR released PTA.
  • 4/3 – Elberta Ct.: ARR was contacted during a welfare check and found to have a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest out of Santa Clara County for 11550(a) H&S. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/5 – Central Blvd: ARR contacted regarding an outstanding warrant. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 4/6 – Marsh Creek Rd: ARR had an outstanding felony JAWS arrest warrant (23153 (a) CVC, 23560 CVC, 23153 (b) CVC, and 14601.2(a) CVC) for his arrest. ARR transported to MDF.
  • 4/7 – Douglas Dr.: ARR was contacted and had a felony warrant for his arrest. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/8 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was stopped for CVC violation. ARR had a 35,000 misd traffic warrant from LA county. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/8 – Los Colinas Dr.: ARR was contacted during a warrant service and taken into custody for a no bail misdemeanor warrant. ARR was transported and booked at juvenile hall.
  • 4/8 – Chestnut St.: ARR was contacted during a warrant service and taken into custody for a no bail misdemeanor warrant. ARR was transported and booked at juvenile hall.
  • 4/11 – Fernwood Lane: ARR contacted and taken into custody for warrant for failure to comply with courtorder.
  • 4/12 – Sand Creek Rd: ARR-1 was contacted, lied about her identity, and had two outstanding warrants. RES was contacted wtih stolen merchandise. VIC did not desire prosecution. RES released on 849, VEH stored.
  • 4/15 – Berkshire Lane: ARR was contacted during a warrant service and found to have a felony warrant for his arrest for 487 PC. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/16 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was stopped for a CVC violation and found to have a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest. ARR released on a PTA.
  • 4/17 – Landover Ct.: ARR was contacted and found to have a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest from CCCSO. ARR released on a PTA.

Weapons Violation

  • 4/11 – Brentwood Blvd: ARR was in possession of two concealed swords, a switchblade, and a methamphetamine pipe. ARR to MDF.
  • 4/14 – Lone Tree Way: ARR stopped for VC violations. ARR found to be in possession of a concealed dirk or dagger, possession of suspected methamphetamine, and in violation of probation. ARR to MDF.
