On Thursday at 11:57 am, Antioch Police responded to Wells Fargo Bank inside the Safeway Grocery Store on Deer Valley Road for a report of a robbery.
Details were limited, however, Antioch Police stated that an African American Female in her 40’s simulated having a weapon and robbed the bank. Police responded, but were unable to locate the female.
No one was hurt during the incident.
No further details were released and more information was possibly going to be released later Thursday.

This is my bank. Does not surprise me as this is the second time in a year its been robbed. I may be going to a new location going forward. I just cannot trust that store or the parking lot any more.

I thought banks had security cameras trained on each teller’s window … did the woman ear a mask? How did the teller know she had a gun? I’d demand to see the gun BEFORE I’d fork over the money.
