At 5:45 pm Wednesday, Antioch Police responding to a report of a shooting at L Street and Claudia Ct that left at least one person hit by gunfire and a vehicle accident occurred.
It was reported shortly upon arrival that Contra Costa County firefighters were performing CPR.
At 6:09 pm, another victim called dispatch reporting she had been involved in the accident at the time of the shooting and had neck pain, along with two children in the vehicle. She parked at L Street and Lemon Tree.
As of 6:10, the gunshot victim was transported to a local hospital. No update was provided on the condition of the victim.
The roadway is currently blocked and expect delays in the area as police are investigating.

I heard about twelve loud gunshots from my home. It’s sad that this city is this dangerous.

So sad idiots who put other peoples life at risk when they do dumb shit like that you wanna shoot at each other than do it in a shooting range or away from the heavey populated areas there was 3 precious lives and a adult who fell victim to there stupidity sending prayers to the innocent individuals involved

Antioch never use to have this type garbage go on. Residents need to start working with the police to bring Antioch back from doom.
That’s mess up that the kids are killing,one other for what don’t have shit to do get a job because when you get caught your ass will pay the prices
