That area is near the AMC Deer Valley movie theaters which is a rather crappy area and getting worse. Lots of Section 8 losers living there.

Why don’t we help them instead of insulting them? Not everyone is as fortunate as others when it comes to financial status or education. Calling them losers only makes you the real loser for putting other people down. If it’s such a concern, go out there and make a positive difference in the world and in the lives of the children to help raise them into great citizens of tomorrow.

How many more shootings is the public going to be made aware of? ECT posted two this week? What about the previous months that ECT is not on scene? APD better step up their game. APD has become a joke and failing to tell the community anything. There are more than 5000 calls each month people. The community deserves to know more of what is going on. Instead, the council is focused on branding.

Better PD relations needed Oct 6, 2018 - 12:07 pm

Yes, let’s bring back open radio communications again. The citizens can help locate the bad guys. Transperancy APD if you want better relations with your citizens.

This is exactly why Antioch should have done Measure W 100% towards PD and stop fooling around with wants from the Council. Antioch NEEDS PD and Code Enforcement. Measure W is a no vote for me until it all goes to PD

Jill:

I understand that you are frustrated but you can put a Cop on every street corner and shootings will still occur in Antioch. These individuals have no conscious and if the individual they want to kill is standing in front of a officer they will still shoot!
