Here’s a perfect example of my point from a previous posting about Burk’s writing.
I might add that the official press release is better written. You should have used it word for word, Burk.
>As the two teens ran from the vehicle as police arrived but were later detained by police and bystanders in a park.< Really?

Tired Reader,

I would have to disagree. This site provides ten times the news coverage of any other news outlet (Press Newspapers/Contra Costa Times).

Odd that you would come here and bash Burk’s efforts. Are you a employee of the “competition” or just caught up in useless critique.

If you don’t like what Burk be offerin’ you best be leavin’. (I’ll bet that sends you around the bend).

You should change your screen name to something a little more fitting. “Tired Thinker” or better yet, “About to be Gone”.

Tired Reader, that’s not what Burk wrote. You added the word “but” instead of a comma. There is nothing grammatically wrong with the sentence. The word “As” is unnecessary, but not incorrect. Regardless, if there were something incorrect, really? Who cares? Sign your posts “Grammar Police” from now on.

This is why you keep your vehicle doors locked and windows up when driving.

This occured over by the park on Asilomar. My daughter-in-law no longer goes to that park with the grandbabies because of the drug dealing that goes on there. I have lived in this neighborhood for 18 1/2 years and bit the bullet on the Mello Roos in the hope that it would diminish the amount of riffraff in the neighborhood. Was I wrong. And if it had been me and I was driving my big pickup, I would have kept moving slowly towards him until he finally would have to move, just like you would do with a cow. All the while calling the police.
