The Antioch Police Department announced that on Wednesday, the community helped raise $2,400 during their Tip A Cop Event at Chili’s Bar and Grill.  The Tip a Cop event helps raise money for the Special Olympics of Northern California.
Police Chief Tammany Brooks called the event a huge success as proceeds from Wednesday more than doubles last year’s amount.
Chief Brooks thanked the community for their generous donations, as well as Chili’s Bar and Grill and officers who participated.
