Antioch: Three Arrested in New Year’s Eve Robbery

Three people were arrested for a robbery that occurred New Year’s Eve on the 900 block of W. 5th Street in Antioch at roughly 10:27 pm.

According to dispatch on the night of the call, a man with his teenage daughter were assaulted and a gun was put to his head and they were robbed of a cell phone, jewelry, cash, and other items. The suspect then fled towards K Street.

Antioch Police quickly responded and located a man running in the area. Police then identified two other subject involved in the robbery. By 10:30, Antioch Police had one subject detained and recovered items stolen in the robbery. By 10:40, police recovered most of the items.

Kathleen Danridge, 29, and Michael Graff, 26, both of Pittsburg, were arrested and charged with robbery and conspiracy. A 14-year-old male was also arrested for his participation.

Antioch Police Lt. Tony Morefield stated Danridge was arrested on additional charges of possession of stolen property and probation violations.

Lt. Morefield praised his patrol officers for quickly responding and setting up a perimeter to locate the suspects.
