At 9:00 pm Saturday, Antioch Police and Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to a report of a rollover accident on Prewett Ranch Dr. in Antioch.
Upon arrival, police located a vehicle on its roof with 1 male subject trapped inside the vehicle. The crash occurred after the vehicle hit a parked van causing it to flip onto its roof.
CONFIRE arrived and began to work to free the man who was not in his seat-belt but inside the vehicle. A medical helicopter was requested where AMR transported the patient to Deer Valley High School where the helicopter landed.
This is being treated as a suspected DUI crash after several cans/bottles were located both in and around the vehicle.
