The Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff J-team (a specialized patrol unit) recently conducted a stop on a vehicle in Martinez. A subsequent search of the car found a half-pound of methamphetamine, powder heroin, tar heroin, several types of prescription pills, large denominations of cash, a loaded semi automatic firearm and two shot guns.

The J-Team and Narcotics Unit later served a search warrant at the driver’s residence in Antioch. A search of the home found additional firearms, drugs, currency and stolen property.

All six people at the residence were arrested on various charges. The estimated street value of all of the drugs seized is approximately $20,000.

Great job, J-Team! Keep these dirt bags off of our streets. They took Jesus out of our schools so that the drug man can educate our kids.
