Antioch: Shots Fired at Conclusion of Super Bowl 50

Shortly after Super Bowl 50 was over, at 7:27 pm the Antioch Police Department received several calls of shots fired in the area of Hillcrest of Hidden Glen Drive.

Antioch-Police-ShootingWhen officers arrived, they located two crime scenes with multiple casings. Officers on scene had to shut down Hidden Glen Drive to investigate.

One crime scene had about 15 shots fired while the other had an estimated 12 shots fired.

Preliminary information from the scene was it was believed a subject fired a gun up into the air celebrating the Super Bowl.

No victim was located and fire and medical were cancelled.

No further information was provided.

Our house was hit by one of these bullets while my family (including two 1-year olds) were eating dinner. The bullet missed us by less than 10 feet. I’m beyond upset. The bullet went through three different windows before finally coming to rest in our living room.
