The community is invited to join the Antioch Rotary Club on April 16 for its annual Bunny Hop 5k Run at the Antioch Marina and Corteva Wetlands for a run, jog or walk.
This year, the Rotary Club invite participants to run like the Hare or pace yourself steady to victory like the Tortoise. Participants will get a Finisher’s Medal and guaranteed a Bunny Hop T-Shirt if you register before March 30, 2022. The Rotary Club of Antioch is a non-profit volunteer civic organization servicing the local community for over 74 years. Some of the projects include Girls Empowerment Project, Boys King Conference, Community Beautification, and Assisting Seniors in the Community with home repairs. After a 3/4 mile warm-up hop from the Antioch Marina Parking Lot to the Start Line within the Corteva Agrisciences Wetlands, you will take off on a flat packed dirt/gravel track for a Fun 5Km (3.1 miles)! This can be a Pre-Easter Fun Run for you, your friends, and your family! If you are competitive, this is a flat fast course! There will be water and snacks at the Finish Line along with a Fun Festival to greet you at the Antioch Marina. Our Sponsors will have booths and will be giving out goodies for the runners!
