At 8:14 pm, Antioch Police responded to a reported stabbing on San Jose Dr. near the Mira Vista Apartment Complex.

As police arrived, the victim met police on the sidewalk outside the apartments and told police the man fled the area but threw a knife on the roof.  The victim appears okay as the stabbing was actually a scratch which appears to have come from a butter knife.  Antioch Police later requested a ladder in an attempt to find the weapon.

According to security, there are reports of a loud verbal argument about 30-minutes prior to the argument but they did not call it.

On radio it appears that the victim did not know who the attacker was other than a nickname and that he had dreadlocks. It also appears the attacker tried to run by hopping over the wall onto Highway 4 and was unsuccessful and went to hide somewhere on the complex.

If you have any leads on this incident, contact the Antioch Police Department.
