Antioch Police Recover Multiple Firearms During Special Operation Monday Morning

At 6:15 am Monday, Antioch Police SWAT conducted an operation at a home in the area of D Street and W. 10th where they detained multiple subjects.

Police searched the property which had a dozen vehicle parked and according to radio traffic they located a gun in the neighbors yard.

Residents in the area reported hearing 3 loud “bangs” prior to police entering the home which blocked off a portion of D Street between W. 10th and W. 13th near Fremont Elementary School . No officers were hurt in the special operation.

It was reported that the operation netted multiple guns and gang Paraphernalia, however, police would not elaborate any further and no additional information was provided.

Residents in the area reported hearing 3 loud “bangs” prior to police entering the home. No officers were hurt in the special operation.

ARRESTED: 16-Year-Old, Male, Antioch Resident

On 11/17/14 at approximately 6:15 AM, the Antioch Police Department SWAT Team assisted their Gang Unit with serving a High Risk Search Warrant at a residence in the 1100 block of D Street. All occupants of the home were detained without incident. During the subsequent search of the home, gang indicia and (2) firearms were located. One subject, a 16-year-old male, was arrested on scene for threats related to gang activity.
