On Thursday, the Antioch Police Department held their annual awards ceremony at Lone Tree Golf Course and Event Center where they recognized members of their department for the work they had done over the past year.
Chief Tammany Brooks honored Officers Jonathan Adams, Ryan Duff, Kelly Inabnett, Thomas Lenderman, Patrick Mayer, John Ramirez, Kyle Smith and Antioch Harbormaster James Plueger with Lifesaving awards.
Officers John Cox, Jake Ewart, Aaron Hughes, and Kelly Inabnett were recognized with Meritorious Service Awards
Dispatcher Pam Colley received a Commendation Award.
We also recognized the retirements of former Chief Allan Cantando, Sergeant Dimitri Barakos, Sergeant Tom Fuhrmann, Officer Kris Dee, and Reserve Officer Frank Rupani.
Detective Rick Hoffman was presented with the Officer of the Year Award, while Community Service Officer Gabrielle Johnson was awarded the Civilian Employee of the Year. Jonathan Martinez earned the Explorer of the Year Award.
Chief Brooks said they were all very proud of the hard working men and women of the Antioch Police Department, and of all their hard work.
