Antioch Police Make Arrest After Attempted Wells Fargo Bank Robbery

The Antioch Police Department announced the arrest of a suspect in a bank robbery attempt Friday.

The incident occurred at 12:21 pm when Antioch Police officers responded to the Wells Fargo Bank located in the 1700 block of ‘A’ Street on a reported robbery attempt.

Wells Fargo Bank reported the responsible had passed a note to the teller and demanded money. The responsible fled the bank on foot prior to obtaining any money. Responding officers located a suspect matching the responsible’s description in the 100 block of E. 18th Street.

Officers contacted 41 year-old Ruben Paez, who was positively identified as the responsible in the robbery. Paez was later booked in the Martinez Detention Facility for attempted robbery.

Yes! That’s the kind of shirt one must wear to a bank robbery! I wonder who manufactured it? Maybe I should design some fabric showing red traffic lights, stop signs, liquor bottles and grocery items for those who want to knock over a liquor store, run a red light and a stop signs, etc. Ya think?

On a real and reality note, people are getting more and more desperate nowadays. We need to be more aware of our surroundings and who we associate with. Social media and the internet has turn our society into impatient envious human beings that can’t keep there d*** in there pants.
