The Antioch Police Department, working in conjunction with BART police, have arrested the subject who they were looking Sunday morning on Sycamore Drive in Antioch.
Police were called to Sycamore Drive after a man was seen with a rifle making suicide threats in an apartment complex parking lot. It should be noted that multiple callers reported shots being fired. In the police statement, they have confirmed no shots were ever fired.

We’ve received several inquiries concerning some police action that took place yesterday morning on Sycamore Drive at about 10am. Much of the information getting back to us is inaccurate, so we wanted to dispel the rumors and get our friends the correct information.
Yesterday morning officers were called to an apartment complex concerning a male resident making suicidal threats while armed with a rifle. Officers conducted a search of the complex for the male but did not locate him. While it was unclear if the male returned back to his apartment, the roadway was temporarily blocked off and several nearby residents were evacuated as a safety precaution while officers attempted to make contact with the subject. No shots were ever fired and the male did not threaten anyone else.
It was later determined the male left the complex and received a ride to the Bay Point BART station. We contacted BART PD who located and arrested the male for an outstanding warrant out of Santa Clara County.
