At roughly 2:51 pm Saturday, Antioch Police responded to a report of a stabbing at Antioch Middle School which left a 16-year-old female with multiple stab wounds.
The incident occurred on W. 18th and D Street where a group of individuals ranging from 16-to-20 years of age engaged into a fight and during the course of the fight the female was stabbed 4-times.
“The incident was not school related nor was it carnival related,” said Lt. Vanderklugt of the Antioch Police Department.
According to Vanderklugt, the female did loose consciousness after the incident, but police stated they did speak with her after she was transported to a local hospital. Her injuries are not considered life threatening.
Police are currently investigating the involvement of a white 4-door Honda Civic to determine if it was seen leaving the area or if it was involved in the incident.
