Police responded to the area when they located a vehicle leaving the scene and entered into a short pursuit before the subject fled on foot and evaded police after the vehicle ended up in the yard of a home on Drake.

Contra Costa County Fire and AMR were dispatched to the scene on a report that a vehicle had crashed into a home after a pursuit and a shooting had occured. However, a short time later police cancelled both medical and fire.

It is unclear if police have any suspects or if anyone was injured in the incident.

No further information was released by police on scene.

So sad I stayed in Antioch for ever
Played sports . Car shows . Walks by the delta .. all the nice shops ..etc.. now you ca nt even go to the store grocery shopping with out ..car break in..or someone saying racial slurs to you cause you won’t give them a few bucks for gas…code 4 beer or drugs…

Antioch was always known as trashy ..white trashy … but I was ok..with that…the trash we have here now ..kills.people…
Clean up the city . More activity’s for the youth …and no more sec..8….

I now reside in oregon
Had to get away from the city I loved…
To dangerous……

I totally understand Brad. I got my family out of Antioch six years ago and it was the best decision I ever made.

My advice, get the heck out of that thug infested city while you can BEFORE one of those pathetic losers takes the life of someone you love.

Unless your actively pushing the trash out of your town it’ll never get better. That’s why no housing/business boom for Antioch. People with the means don’t move there.
