Antioch Police Execute Search Warrant For Stolen Property

by ECT

On Monday afternoon, the Antioch Police Department executed a search warrant of a home that is suspected to have stolen property.

The search began around 3:30 pm on S. Lake Dr. in Antioch near Hillcrest Ave. where three people were in handcuffs out front with at least one person being taken into custody and one person released on scene.

It is unclear at this time what stolen property they were looking for, but they did recover multiple stolen guns, vehicles, and drugs were found. Due to the condition of the property, code enforcement was also called to the scene to investigate. The California Highway Patrol also assisted on the search.

A white dog was inside the home when the search began. It appears the dog did not live here and was being watched at the residence while the owner was at work. The owner of the dog showed up and the police released it to its owner.

When Antioch Police release more information, we will update this story.

Great work as usual Antioch PD. I am glad you found stolen items, but I am more thankful for code enforcement being on site, that house has needed it for a while now. Hopefully this will be the start of cleaning up that home so the neighbors can have some piece of mind.

That’s a beautiful dog!

What crime? We certainly don’t see one right Clara m?

All we see is a “beautiful dog”

Antioch needs a pittbull for every person in town. So lethal dog lovers like Clara m and me can wallow in their poop.

This is disgusting. Code enforcement can’t wait, bring them back ASAP! I would be embarrassed to live next to that home. Great job Antioch PD and Highway Patrol.

Albeit only these two are it, we do need more!

They should be embarrassed to live in that home. Problem today is people have no respect for themselves or anyone else. Code enforcement isn’t the cure for everything.

From the number on the perps shirt , I guess in this case 7 was a unluckey number.
Good job Antioch P.D.

There’s that common denominator again

Exactly. They are always involved in one way or another. I bet they sold the stolen items to the people in this picture for meth.

The lake house!! Known by all needed to be put out of business for a long time for all the horrible things that have happened there that the people of Antioch know nothing about would shock you for real!! Truly sick shit!!

I think us neighbors should get first dibs on checking out the property they found in that house…give us all Hazmat suits and let us see if any of our belongings are in there!! Great job, APD. This house has been the topic of conversation amongst neighbors for months now. Glad to see it finally get taken down!

To bad for those of u that have been disturbed by a different life style … I personally have lived on both sides of the tract annd I know what it is to feel when l someone passes judgement on his neighbor. Its not fair nor right even Christ taught us not to judge or ye shall also be judge. Stop looking on the outside and not really knowing the whole truth. I personally know the Ritters and I know that they are wonderful people. I love my friends right or wrong !!!!!

JimSimmons42 Dec 17, 2013 - 4:25 pm

Jessica.

They may be wonderful people to you, but others who they stole from may not think they are wonderful since they stole their property.

Reginald Jamal Brown Dec 17, 2013 - 5:52 pm

Jessica,

Why don’t you invite them and their family members who don’t have a place to stay, to your house for the Holidays?

You make me sick with all your BS handouts and preaching your crap onto other people WHO HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO THEIR OWN OPINION.

Keep your section 8 handouts to yourself and your fellow section 8 family members, “right or wrong”.

jessica h Dec 17, 2013 - 11:10 pm

I will never be every ones cup of tea…” I know that”..and yes we all have are own opinions.that sounds about right though, people ” like you” to form opinions you would nothing about….YES THEY CAN COME TO MY HOME TO ENJOY CHRISTMAS…GOD IS GRAET. HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Reginald Jamal Brown Dec 18, 2013 - 11:07 am

Don’t forget to invite the panhandlers throughout the city and the prostitutes downtown. I hear Walnut Creek had a bunch of homeless currently evicted.

Happy Kwanza Jessica h!

Your a mean person & when you are old and alone…. And someone has dumped you off in some nursing home…. I will look for you. I will come and read your wonderful comments of intelligence to you. It will serve you right, for making such cruel statements about “section 8 & welfare”…

jessica h Dec 17, 2013 - 1:12 pm

What about all those who had an ugly opinion to say about the lake house. Those who wrote in couldn’t even sign their name instead they used another saying . Are those who have done so embarrassed or ashamed to let the public know what they had to say. Well I have something to say to all those who thinks its OK to see and agree for a family to be toss out of their home just before christmas bahahumbug!!!! Shame on you all and leave this family alone.. .

For why Dec 17, 2013 - 4:22 pm

Jessica didn’t they recover stolen property and stolen guns from this wonderful residence?? Not to worry they’ll have a warm bed and food were they are living now

JimSimmons42 Dec 17, 2013 - 4:27 pm

Jessica.

So what does the “H” stand for? Where is your full name?

Ryan Dec 17, 2013 - 9:40 pm

Is that Michael Vick or Joe Montana?

Reginald Jamal Brown Dec 18, 2013 - 11:07 am

Both of ’em

concerned Dec 18, 2013 - 4:03 pm

While I agree that this mess needs to be cleaned up and that people who steal should be punished, I also know that everyone has a story. Just because someone has succumed to drug addiction and is homeless makes them a criminal? Not always nor do I think they should be called “scum”! Only one person can lay judgement and that’s God.

Reginald Jamal Brown Dec 18, 2013 - 8:44 pm

Please tell God to protect the law abiding citizens who respect others and are not on drugs or homeless and can keep a job and support themselves. After all, it is these tax paying citizens who provide money for the weak and poor with free clinics and shelters.

No shut the front door and GO BLESS YOURSELF, concerned.

Wow, the “snitch” can’t come up with something better than the “lakehouse”? Way to go “snitch” you really saved Antioch! Yea right. They’re aint nothing saving this town. But I’ll tell ya what, if ya’ll wanna start making a real difference, start by knocking down Sycamore & get rid of all that garbarge over there! Ya think??

Cigaaaaaz Dec 20, 2013 - 12:05 pm

Its funny how the citizens of Antioch think that APD are doing all of us a favor & stopping crime. APD is more crooked than ever.

I grew up in that house. It was once a beautiful, clean family home. I am dear friends with the owner of that house. He was kind enough to take me in when I desperately needed it. He is one of the kindest people I have ever known. My children and I have very fond memories inside that house. The fishing in the backyard, swimming in the lake, a lot of memories. They love him and so do I. It was always a place where many friends of his came to visit often. They were all good people. Then slowly, shady people began to make their way in. It got worse and worse. Rotten people moved in and invaded his home, where he had become a prisoner inside, but unwilling to let them drive him out. He would NEVER hurt or steal anything from ANYONE. HE IS NOT THE BAD GUY. HE IS THE VICTIM HERE. People don’t understand how these scumbags work. He is not the only person this has happened to. It happens every day to many innocent decent people like him. Especially in Antioch. I would like to say to all of his REAL FRIENDS who see this: If you have a truck, or any other means of helping him clean up and take back his home, PLEASE HELP HIM! It’s Christmas, for Christ’s sake. How many of you through the years has he helped? He would be the first one to help you if you needed it! He has only 10 days to get rid of all the garbage and reclaim his home. PLEASE HELP HIM! Sadly, this is the best thing that could have happened. Those nasty low-life crank and heroin addicts have long driven all the good people away from there and needed to be stopped. I pray for the next victims they will now find and take over. I realize people who live in the neighborhood are happy about this. It was disgusting. I am happy, too. But please recognize that it wasn’t him that was stealing things from the neighborhood. He would NEVER do that. I KNOW HIM VERY WELL. He lost control of the house long ago and just didn’t know what to do. He refuses to ask anyone for help. So I am doing it for him. Please do not judge him. He is a beautiful person, and I can only pray for him right now. HE NEEDS SUPPORT, NOT JUDGEMENT. WE LOVE YOU, MIKE!! Stay strong. God is good. You will be okay I promise! We are here for you.

Reginald, you’re just as much of a loser that you claim these people to be. I can’t voice my opinion without you telling me to STFU (yes, I know what you were insinuating) and go bless myself? Really? You’re a real class act!
