Antioch Police Arrest Woman For Stabbing Female Over Video Taping Road Rage Fight

by ECT

On September 24, the Antioch Police Department responded to Aster Drive and Crestview Drive for a fight that left one female with a stab wound to her knee.

Antioch Police later arrested Apraill Tanksley for assault with a deadly weapon and child cruelty.

The incident started over a road rage incident that turned into a fight between Tanksley and an unidentified woman. The is when a camera began filming the fight.

Tanksley then turned on her “friend” who rather than assist her, instead recorded the incident. Tanksley then pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed her friend in the knee resulting in a minor injury which also was recorded.

The incident occurred at an apartment complex on the 1400 block of Aster Drive at around 9 p.m. on Sept. 24, when police say Tanksley got into a fistfight with a woman who happened to be in the area. That’s when the 22-year-old victim decided to pull out a camera and film the fight.

It was determined the female had a 6-year-old child with her at the time of the incident which is why child cruelty charges were filed.
