Antioch PD Apprehend Suspect for Violating Restraining Order Monday Afternoon

The Antioch Police Department responded to a home invasion this afternoon where they captured the suspect inside the home on Kodiak St in Antioch. Upon taking apprehending the subject, police requested an AMR ambulance which also triggered a response by the fire department. The suspect was taken away via ambulance.

Police on scene did not share the reason behind the medical attention, but stated they nearly put him in restraints until he changed his mind and decided to cooperate. The suspect is believed to be homeless.

Tuesday Update 7:30 am:

The suspect was taken into custody for home/restraining order violation, this was not a burglery or robbery incident.
