At 12:34 am Saturday morning, emergency crews responded to a vehicle accident where a car traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into an Antioch pool.
A Toyota Avalon was driving down Via Dora Dr. when it missed its turn onto Deerfield. Instead, it kept driving straight down a walking trail where it eventually went through a fence and ended up in a pool.
According to police, one adult and two minors were in the vehicle at the time of the crash–the driver was 18. Its not been confirmed that alcohol was related to the crash, but one of the pictures below shows a bottle of alcohol on the front seat. Two of the three subjects were arrested.
As of 11:00 am, four tow trucks were on scene attempting to pull the vehicle out of the pool.
