Antioch: Man Shot Sunday Afternoon in Critical Condition

On Sunday at approximately 1:55 pm, Antioch Police responded to a report of shots being fired in the area of Lemontree Way and Sycamore Drive.

Antioch Officers arrived in the area and found a 30-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers rendered aide until medical personnel arrived on scene. The Victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment and is currently listed in critical condition.

Police said officers are currently following up on investigative leads. No further information is being released at this time due to this active investigation.

I bet the shooter was an upstanding law abiding citizen who purchased the gun from a legitimate store and passed the background along with the test before registering the gun.

If your gonna shoot someone, better have your papers in order.

If not, they will be out of jail on their own recognizance or protected by santuary status.
