At roughly 8:40 pm Monday, Antioch Police officers responded to the area of 1500 block of Sycamore Dr. for reports of gunshots heard. Officers located a 21-year-old victim who appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds.
Several bullet casings were also located in the area. The victim was transported to a local hospital in serious condition. There are no suspects at this time and the case is still being investigated.

- According to radio traffic, this may have been a drive by shooting where a dark colored vehicle (possibly a Buick sedan) shot 10-20 shots as multiple casings were found on scene.
- Police requested additional units as a precaution as a large crowd gathered around the scene.
- The victim was expected to survive after reportedly being shot in the groin.
- Contra Costa County Fire Protection District and American Medical Response were also requested to the scene.

Don’t worry folks this is all just make believe. Our competent mayor said “things are getting better” so there is no way this could have happened.
20 shots and all that was hit was the groin? Lol, No more babies for you! Haha
