On May 10 at 6:38 pm, Antioch Police and investigators were working a proactive detail in Antioch when they learned that 33 year old Sean Rosevear was staying in a room at the Days Inn on Auto Center Drive.
Rosevear was wanted on $720,000 worth of warrants for vehicle pursuits and stolen vehicles.
As detectives entered the room, Rosevear jumped out of the 3rd story window in an attempt to avoid arrest. He sustained major injuries, but was still able to flee on foot.
The investigators caught up to him a few hundred yards away where he fought with them but was taken into custody. Rosevear was taken to an area hospital where he was admitted for injuries sustained from jumping from the window.
