Population control, anyone??? Feb 2, 2016 - 1:59 pm

How many more Antioch men can be arrested? There are only 100,000 or so people living in Antioch… Why are there soooo many criminals living in such a small area????

We all know why there is a ton of crime in Antioch. Those pesky Eskimos have infested Antioch. Lol.

They moved there from Richmond, and oakland thanks to the city government back in the 90s. The disease took hold and was unchecked, and multiplied to what you see today.

I agree with Dion. It is my understanding that when the area of Lone Tree and Deer Valley Road being being developed with the newer homes, the developers built Deer Valley High School before there were actually enough residents to support and populate the high school, Then in order to populate the high school they started shipping in the inner city kids from west county to populate the school. Then during this time too, it was uncovered that the government issued an avalanche of Section 8 vouchers for housing in Antioch (much more than what should have been allowed based on the size of Antioch as compared to other cities and their populous). Not to say that everyone who is receiving government assistance are criminals, but I would risk to say that Antioch did not have a crime problem until these folks were shipped to Antioch, and the vouchers issued. So if this is true, then we can all thank HUD, the City of Antioch, and the developer of the Lone Tree/Deer Valley area for providing the epicenter that fosters these criminals who prey upon Antioch’s residents and the citizens of our surrounding neighbors.

It seems like the criminal element from Antioch is looking for “better pickings” in the more affluent towns.

Pedro, you’d make your Conquistador ancestors proud. Stop being such a sissy and put some action to those words of yours. So far you’re just an overreactive, fear-inciting, Colonized mind full of hot air and no action. All theory, all talk. At the moment you seem worse than this mail theif.

Pedro Garcia Feb 3, 2016 - 11:38 am

Thats the ghetto garbage section 8 mentality. To tell someone to walk down their shithole ran street where crime is high as hell and see what happens? lmfao dumb morons like you are reason why california is going into the toilet. Bet you’re on welfare and dont work

A public lynching for mail theft? Pedro, your Conquistador ancestors would be proud. With each new passing day, Antioch seems like an experimental insane asylum. Not just for the criminal element, but for the insanely silly opinions of its average citizens. This city is doomed… At the end of the day no one is innocent. We are reaping the aftermath of living on stolen land as we continue to rape this planet. Pedro, you’re a true scumbag, even compared to a mail theif.

This city is not that kind of place. We need to put this guy on a pedestal and focus the blame on us. We didn’t do our job entertaining him or giving him free video games and free things to do.

Don’t think mail theft is all its about… identity theft, fraud, theft of one’s livelihood, and so on. No respect for the laws that are meant to protect the average law abiding citizens. Peoples frustrations with the deals and lack of interest in keeping repeat offenders behind bars. It’s a matter of time before people take matters into their own hands. Enjoy the peace, because a reckoning is coming.

Saw him walking down Civic Monday night in front of Diablo Keys but they have a security guard out and alert after midnight!
