Antioch: Man Arrested After Shooting at Family Member

At 2:11 pm Sunday, Antioch Police responded to a report of an argument between two adult male family members in the 1200 block of Buchanan in Antioch.

According to Antioch Police, the two males were separated. After police left, one of the males went over to the other subjects house and the argument continued. Upon allegations being made, the male fired a gun at the other male.

Police immediately responded and upon descriptions of the subject and the vehicle, they found the shooter in a vehicle on Claudia Ct where the subject in custody attempted to resist arrest.

According to police, three total were detained around 2:49 pm, however, two juvenile females were released at the scene. The adult male was a positive ID for the shooting and was being detained for shooting into an occupied dwelling.

While in custody, as a precaution, Antioch Police requested medical treatment for an unrelated medical condition.

The incident had no injuries and no gun was located.
