Antioch Library Presents Resources for Positive Change in Antioch

The Antioch Library is hosting an event on Saturday, August 15 entitled “Resources for a Positive Change in Antioch” which will be held from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

The event is aimed at those who are tired of negativity about what you read about regarding Antioch. For those tired of the complaints regarding Antioch. They also want to highlight how people can learn to be part of the solution.

The panelists will include:

  • Trine Gallegos, Freelance Columnist for Contra Costa Times
  • Lori Cook, Cleaning Up Antioch, One Home at a Time
  • Beverly Knight, Empowering Antioch
  • Tina Price, Parents Connected
  • Jo Loss, Volunteer Center of the East Bay

The event will be focusing on the resources available to improve Antioch and bring it into a positive light such as reporting garbage, volunteering, and engaging the community.

Each panelist will contribute their knowledge and experiences, and then we will have a Q&A with the audience. Social Media will also be discussed.

The event is located at 501 W. 18th Street in Antioch
