Shortly before 12:30 pm Sunday, the Antioch Police Department detained two people who were in a stolen vehicle.
After an officer spotted the stolen vehicle, which police attempted to stop Saturday, a high-risk traffic stop occurred at E. 18th Street and Evergreen.
The officers pulled one man out of the vehicle who had tools of some sort on him. Police also located a shaved key in the ignition.
According to Antioch Police Lieutenant John Vanderklugt, although two people were detained, only Arthur Castro, 29 of Antioch was arrested because he was the driver.
He was booked at Martinez Detention Facility.
