The Wild, Wild, West is alive and thriving in good ‘ole Antioch! This is what happens when hoodrats & thugs move to the suburbs.
So glad we left. You can put a cop on every block and this lunatics will still find a way to terrorize the community!
Me too, Gary!!! Moved to SoCal over two years ago and I haven’t hear A SINGLE gun shot, not even one, since I moved back down here. I had moved to Antioch twenty years ago, you know, before it went to full-blown shit, but it was already falling apart but nothing like it is today. Such a shame, beautiful little town on the water over run by cockroaches…
Also moved to SoCal almost five years ago, best decision we ever made. We now sleep peacefully at night. No gunshots, no helicopters flying over our neighborhoods, no thugs hanging out, no sagging pants, no ghetto attitudes, parents can actually let their children go to our parks without fear of them being robbed or assaulted, and women can feel safe just taking a walk without having to look over their shoulder. What a HUGE difference from Antioch.

Gotta love Antioch. The sanctuary city for criminal scum.
This just a normal Friday night here in section 8 city.
Thabk you! Very scary! It’s stuff like this that makes you never want to leave your house. But I don’t want to live my life in fear!
if they ask for a statement I’d gladly give one. Idiots like this need to be off the street! Thanks that was the first thing to come to mind was get on the ground. I didn’t want to run back to my car & they think I am apart of the shooting & start shooing in my direction.
It was never yours though …
Dont worry folks antioch police is investigating.
If the owner of the gas station allows the loitering shame on him. That gas station woulndt have the bad rep if it wasn’t allowed. The world is full of disrespectful, inconsiderate and violent people; no matter what city you live in. And blaming those on section 8 shouldn’t be reason, it’s the ones who rent to them because it’s all about the money. Check the landlords not the renters alone.
Steven, glad you are OK but I have lived here 50 years and am not afraid to drive any street in Antioch at anytime. There are lots of folks just like me. I’m not going to run either. I plan to continue to fight.
But hey, don’t worry they are on top of things! Just look-

Don’t forget folks, when “seconds” count, the police are just “minutes” away!
Wake up Antioch!
Gas City. Also known as Gun City. This isn’t the gas station’s first scary incident. How about the day a mob of teenagers did not want to use the crosswalk and did not go around the cars while J-walking but instead climbed up on the cars and then over them. Or the most recent mob that caused the low price movie theater to close early and the McDonalds employees fearing the worse is about to happen. A murder occurred many years ago at this location with a large crowd present.
