Antioch: Firefighters Rescue Three Residents After Vehicle Crashes into Home

At 5:30 pm Friday, Contra Costa County firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle into a home on Crystal Court in Antioch.

Upon arrival, firefighters located a vehicle that entered the home which trapped three people upstairs in the home. No injuries were reported.

According to Battalion Chief Ed Gonzales, Contra Costa firefighters assisted the three occupants of the home while the driver of the vehicle was taken into custody by Antioch Police.

The residents of the home were displaced and Red Cross was requested.

No further details were provided and Antioch Police are expected to release additional information at some point in the future.
