Antioch: Firefighters Pull 2 Cats, 1 Dog from House Fire

by ECT

At 12:10 pm Monday, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District Firefighters were dispatched to a report of a structure fire in the 1200 block of Oak Haven Way in the City of Antioch.

Firefighters were tipped off by a person who stated they observed smoke and flames coming from the living room of the home.

Upon arrival, CONFIRE firefighters confirmed this was a working fire and requested all units to continue. By 12:31 pm, the fire was knocked down, but not before crews were able to pull 2 cats and 1 dog from the home who were later treated by AMR.

The fire damage was limited to the living room area.

The fire is currently under investigation.

Nice one dickhead, glad someone losing their home and belongings is humorous to you. People like you are what is wrong with this country, too many people standing by laughing at others tragic circumstances. You should take a minute and think over the childish shit your unintelligent brain comes up with before you post. You are a horrible human being living a pointless existence and look around because no one is laughing at your middle school jokes. Dipshit, show some compassion for your fellow neighbors or keep you it to yourself please, Thank you.

@Simonpurethot, Nice one dumbf, glad someone losing their home and belongings is humorous to you. People like you are what is wrong with this country, too many people standing by laughing at others tragic circumstances instead attempting to help. You should take a minute and think over the childish thoughts your unintelligent brain comes up with before you post. You are a horrible human being living a pointless existence and look around bud, no one is laughing at your middle school jokes. Try showing some compassion for your fellow neighbors Thot or keep just your saltiness to yourself please kiddo, Thank you.

Not gonna happen…if one cannot find any humor in life they are screwed to begin with. And by the way champ, they didn’t lose their home.

Knowing the difference between when it is appropriate to use humor and when to show compassion is a level of maturity you have yet to reach my sweet boy. One day you will grow up don’t worry.

Come on Mike…no one lost their home and the only ones home were animals. It’s a humorous positive thought. Awesome a bystander reported or perhaps they could have perished. Put a smile on your face. You seem frugal and vane. Kind of like you close the blinds to change your mind. Move on and find some happiness. Peace and love brother!

It’s wonderful to see how caring the AMR people were with those animals. God bless them! Surprisingly, the cats were calm as they were given oxygen. The dog took it in stride. So lucky they were saved. Big thanks to the firefighters and the AMR members.
