Antioch: Firefighters Locate 20 Dogs Inside Apartment After False Alarm

by ECT

At 7:08 pm Wednesday, Contra Costa County firefighters responded to a report of smoke coming from an apartment in the 2300 block of Sycamore Drive.

Upon arrival, firefighters made forced entry into an apartment where they located a pot on the stove. The resident was asleep in another room and firefighters pulled her to safety after smoke had filled the apartment.

Firefighters then requested Antioch Animal Services after they located several dogs inside the apartment complex–they counted as many as 20-small dogs.

No further information was provided.

Ewwww…. from the photo alone, the ground looks disgusting. I see two dog pads with pee and poop on it. I cannot imagine the rest of this apartment and the smell that would come from it.

Antioch continues to hit new lows. I can’t believe the amount of scumbags that live in this city.
