At 5:38 pm Thursday, Contra Costa County Firefighters responded to a report of a vegetation fire on Condor Ct. off Eagleridge Drive in Antioch.
The fire was reportedly backing up to homes and started as a small brush fire. Upon arrival, CONFIRE found the fire to have grown to 2-acres which was threatening as many as 6-homes. Units on scene requested a full vegetation response as a precaution because of wind concerns.
The fire was limited to three acres and reported under control by 6:10 pm. By 6:18 pm, the fire was considered “out”.
